The Global:Church Forum is a gathering allowing the western church to hear afresh what God is doing in the Global South and East and find out how ministry is done within the context of different cultures and economies.

GCF creates a context for Western church, ministry and organization leaders to hear what God is doing around the world, and then understand how this movement in the non-western world affects movements, models and methodologies pursued by those in the west.

In 2012, GCF convened in Chicago and was attended by representatives from 98 Christian, nonprofit organizations and speakers from more than 23 countries. Partnering organizations included Compassion International, Crossway Publishers, The Global Executive Leadership Forum, CreatePossible, re:source global and Christianity Today.

In 2013, GCF will be hosted by Kasr El Dobara Church in Egypt. For more information about future GCF events and partner opportunities, contact Tommy Lee at tommy@createpossible.com.

Co-Lab is a collective of like-minded ministry leaders who gather every year to explore best practices, learn from globally minded faculty and develop relationships so that God-given vision becomes reality. An invitation-only gathering, Co-Lab is an alternative experience that is more focused on what happens in the days following the event rather than the event itself. March 21-22 ministry leaders and their team will convene in Chicago for Co-Lab 2013.

Participants will connect with some of the nation’s most influential Christian thinkers and work alongside them to develop action plans to take back and implement with their own organizations. 2013 faculty include David Blanchard, Josh Kwan, Nancy Ortberg, Atul Tandon, Andy Crouch, Carver Yu, David Kinnaman and more.

Event details will be released in December 2012. For more information, contact Ann Healing at ann@createpossible.com.

Understand Your Church’s Mission.

Ask anyone what the church’s purpose in the world is, and you’re sure to get a different response every time. What are we here for? Worship services? Social reform? Bible study? God’s kingdom and glory?

Join us for the Pastorum Live conference in Chicago April 11–12, 2013. At Pastorum, Bible scholars and pastors will unpack the mission of the church as it is displayed in Scripture—starting at the very beginning. You and your peers will overview God’s plan from Genesis to Revelation, and find ways for your local church to carry out the mission of our God and King.
